Get the free App for Android and Apple products here at the iTunes store.
Compuware Corp. will for the second year be the Maker of the Maker Faire Detroit Upping the technology of last year’s fun puzzle quest – this year, visitors will have the opportunity to use augmented reality technology and build a cool 3-D robot that’ll come to life as they discover and scan codes placed at various exhibits.
The app also has convenient schedule and event map components.
In the Maker Minutes video below, Tim Fisher at Compuware, demonstrates how it will work.
Will there be an Android app?!
Yes. Android and iPhone.
Hi Nathaniel – the app will run on Android, too. Here are links:

When will this app be available? I was unable to find it today (7/22) in the app store.

Will there be a Kindle Fire functional version of this app, or will your Android version work on KF.
Clayton, here’s what I know: it should function on Kindle but the layout is not optimized for that tablet, so it may not look as good. That’s according to the developer. Hope you have a good Maker Faire visit.

The app was VERY buggy. Neither schedule nor maps would load once I was at Henry Ford. “My day” schedule showed all events being on Center Stage. The app crashed probably half of the times I tried to scan a game code. Not very useful at all. I was using the iOS version on an iPod Touch.
