  3. I am so pumped for the 2012 Detroit Maker Faire. Can’t wait to come see all of the really cool things. The first two were amazing

  4. I can’t wait. Only 4 more weeks! Is there a schedule yet?

  5. Please update us on the Maker Faire schedule. We are two who would like to volunteer! Thank you

  6. Awaiting info to volunteer for Maker Faire.

  7. I am so excited about performing in the Polyfonica Duo at Detroit Maker Faire this year! This will be year number 2 for me at Detroit Maker Faire and I am so proud to be part of this unforgettable yearly event for all ages! A special thanks to all the writers, managers, organizers and makers for putting on such a wonderful MICHIGAN spectacle. See you soon!

  8. Umm, Two weeks away and no schedule yet? Partial schedule would be better than none. At this point, are we to assume there are no Makers scheduled?

  9. Amanda McGraw

How can someone sign up for the Lego game show?

    • Kristine Hass

      Here’s how it works.

      1) To be eligable to play the game show you must be at least 8 years old

      2) There are two divisions that will alternate; 8-14 years old and 15+

      3) To enter, fill out an index card with your name and age and drop it into the box at the
center of the stage prior to the start of each show

      4) Cards will not be entered into subsiquent shows but you are welcome to complete another

      Hope that helps!

  10. Are there any lock picking seminars….are the metal foundry guys going to be demonstrating casting? Is there a DIY CNC/3D printing tent? I am scared to pay $30 to go to a music/art festival. Can we get an Arduino seminar, or a welding seminar?

  11. There should be an experimental airplane out there this weekend. Just wood frame. Will it be in village or in Museum

  12. It would be nice if the schedule contained a link or had a description of the events, cannot find necessary info here to plan the day.

  13. What is there for a 4.5 year old and his 2.5 year old younger brother?

  14. Mavis Farr Smentkowski

I’m so excited to share my love of metalsmithing and metal stamping at Maker Faire tomorrow!
